Why CBD? And what actually is CBG?

CBD (cannabidiol) can be found today in countless applications of the most varied kinds.
It is enjoying increasing popularity worldwide:
In the USA there are e.g. Cafés that offer CBD coffee and tea. In Hollywood, cocktails with CBD are hyped. There are now CBD creams, ice cream, gummy bears, mouth sprays, chewing gums or e.g. Massage oils. The spectrum of effects of CBD is broad. However, different studies show that CBD mainly has an antibacterial effect, protecting cells from oxidative stress and slowing down inflammation.

CBG (cannabigerol) is the biochemical precursor to CBD in the hemp plant. CBG was first discovered in 1964.
In fact, more in-depth research into cannabis has only just begun. However, CBG is one of the cannabinoids that has been researched into in recent years. This is not least due to its great potential to be helpful for the human organism.
